The first thing I read when the
What's Up newspaper arrives at our school is "If ______ were your principal". I think it's really cool - I will continue to support it.
What's Up rocks! I would also like to share my own version of "If ______ were your principal".
If Auntie Lucy were your principal:
- If you did something wrong, the principal will stand in front of you and say, "Ai Yo, so embarrassing!"
- There will only be one legal hairstyle: curls!
- You will have to wear a shirt and long 'Aunty' pants as your school uniform.

If Medusa from the movie "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief" was my principal:
- The school uniform would include a hairpiece made of live snakes.
- Her two sisters would constantly visit the school to talk to us in the assembly about frightening things.
- She would talk about how she once was beautiful and how she hates the gods.
- Those who fail their exams and fail to please her will be forced to look into her eyes and be turned to stone.
- The Hall of Statues would always need to be extended.

I really like the article "If Edward Cullen were your principal". Here's what it would be like if Taylor Lautner were my principle:
- We would travel around the world watching him act for free.
- We would watch New Moon or The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl everyday at least once.
- One of the subjects would be learning how to be a shark.
- We would have black uniforms with a moon logo.
- And, we would be jeering at Taylor Swift every day.

- He would make us all werewolves.
- He would tell the teachers to teach us how to fight and hate vampires.
- He would have statues of vampires being killed.
- He would send students to spy on Bella and Edward.
- He would train and send upper-level students to bring Bella to him and kill Edward.

I read all of the "If........was my principal". All of them were hilarious. I shared that column with my friends and family. All of them also said that it was really funny. And, my parents asked me to try out making my own version of "If........was my principal". I made Michael Jackson my principal as he is my hero and inspiration. I will try my best to make it nice and simple, so here it goes...Enjoy!
If Michael Jackson were my Principal:
- We would have to wear shiny black shoes and shiny socks.
- We would have to wear a hat and a sequined glove.
- We would wear fancy uniforms like a red leather jacket, a sequined jacket or even a white suit.
- Whatever uniform we had to wear, we would always wear black pants.
- We would have more Music lessons than any other lessons like English or Mother Tongue.
- We would learn how to do the Moonwalk.
- On the first day of a new school year, we would sing "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' ".
- If you did something bad, he would sing to you the song "Bad".
- If you made him angry, he would sing the song "Scream".
- When you are involved in a fight, he would sing "Beat It".

- We would be on planet Pandora.
- We would be tall, blue and have tails.
- Our classroom would be in the forest along with nature.
- Most of our subjects would be outdoor activities, like catching, learning more skills in fighting such as shooting arrows, etc.
- We would also have to learn avatar language.
- We would have a "dragon" each for ourselves.
- We would have to learn how to ride the type of horse in Pandora.
- During recess time, we would eat fruits.

I read "If _____ were your principal....." and thought it was hilarious. Now, I have been thinking, what if The Queen of England were my principal? Here are some things that might change:
- We would be flown to England to have classes there.
- We would have to speak in a British accent.
- We would have morning tea instead of recess.
- The canteen would sell only cookies, scones and cakes for tea.
- We would have to sing the British national anthem.
